Piz Nair is located at 3,057 metres in the canton of Graubünden and is part of the Albula mountain range. It is often referred to as the 'local mountain of St. Moritz'. Piz Nair is easily accessible by the Chantarella funicular from the village of St. Moritz. Upon arrival at the Corviglia, the Piz Nair cable car climbs up to its mountain station at 3,057 metres.
Arrival by train
With its loop tunnels and dizzyingly high viaducts, the journey by Rhaetian Railway (RhB) Chur - Tiefencastel – Engadine, is one of the most picturesque and fascinating in terms of railway technology in the whole of Europe. It’s also possible to travel to the Engadine from Landquart via Klosters – Vereina Tunnel. The journey from Zurich main station to St. Moritz takes about three hours.
